What it is

The Map block embeds an interactive map — for example a Google Maps location — directly on the page.

How to add it

Add a Map block and paste the map's Embed URL (in Google Maps: Share → Embed a map → copy the src). Give it a title so the map has an accessible label.

Configure it

Title — a short description of what the map shows; it becomes the embedded frame's accessible label. Embed URL — the provider's embed src, not the normal browser address. Size and alignment work as they do on an image or a video. Shape is how tall the map is relative to its width — standard suits most maps, and a banner suits a wide strip — so it keeps its proportions at every screen width.

Tips

Always set a title so screen-reader users know what the map shows. Use the provider's Embed URL, not the page link.

For an image or video hosted on this site, use the Media block.
